护理学院的历史

Nursing has been an important component of the 十大玩彩信誉平台 since 1973, just 10 年 after the university itself was established.

Between 1973 and the present, 护理学院 has had one Director 护理 and four  迪安s, each of whom has contributed significantly to the growth of the College 护理.

Dora Eldridge Blackmon, EdD, RN, was the first dean of the School 护理, serving 从1977年到89年. Under her leadership, the college in 1978 added a special track for RNs wishing to earn a BSN degree and, in 1981, a similar 程序 for RNs wishing to 完成MSN学位. Later in her tenure, in 1985, the School 护理 was designated 护理学院. With more than 700 students, it was the fourth largest academic 校园单元.
